The Digital Marketing Services sector primarily includes companies seeking to assist advertisers and/or publishers to maximize marketing campaigns (formerly know as B@B during the dotcom boom). Generally speaking, there tend to be three primary approaches to enhancing marketing results for advertisers: (1) Ad Networks that attempt to create buying, selling and performance efficiencies through aggregating the supply of publisher inventory and the demand for placing ads across a range of sites; (2) Digital Agencies tend to focus on a services-based approach to creating and implementing marketing campaigns across a range of products; and, (3) Technology Providers that seek to provide the tools for publishers, agencies and advertisers to implement online and mobile marketing campaigns.
